McCARTNEY Seamus, from Staffordford Road, Randalstown (formerly Bellaghy), on Friday, September 11 2026, peacefully at home, beloved husband of the late Kate, devoted mother of Donna (Hamill), Joanne (Mulholland), Ciaran, doting grandfather to Mark, Caitlin, Tara, Jack, Muireann and Fiachra and ,brother of Margaret, Teresa, Patricia, Dermot, Brian and the late Archie.

Seamus’s remains will be removed from his late residence, 83 Staffordstown Road, at 11.20am on Sunday morning to St MacNissi’s Church, Randalstown for 12.00noon Requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Seamus’s wake will commence on Saturday from 11.00am to 10.00pm. On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing son, daughters, brothers, sister, sons-in-law Mark and Stephen, daughter-in-law Eimear, grandchildren and wider family circle.
