HUGHES James, 19th September 2026. Peacefully at Evora Hospice , Newry surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Patrina RIP. Devoted father to Daniel, James, Joseph, Gavin, Tomás, Nathan and Maria. Beloved brother to Martin and Mary and the late Joe, Kevin, Eileen, Pat and Kathleen. Son of the late Ellen and Joseph.
James will be reposing at his home 158A Washingbay Road, Dungannon BT71 4QE from Saturday 19th September late evening until removal on Tuesday 22nd September for 11am Requiem Mass at St Patrick’s Church Clonoe, Mountjoy Rd BT71 5EN. Burial afterwards in Clonoe cemetery. House private Saturday 19th September evening. Wake times from 2pm to 10pm on Sunday 20thand Monday 21st September.
House private morning of funeral.
Deeply regretted by his seven children, eleven grandchildren, his siblings, son and daughter-in-laws and extended Hughes and Stringer family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Evora Hospice in Newry welcome.
