HIGGINS (Nee Kelly) Maureen (Annadorn) RIP. Died 21st September 2026 peacefully at Ringdufferin Nursing Home.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Seamus and loving mother to Dympna, Anne, Ethna, Gerard and Deirdre. Dear mother-in-law, and cherished grandmother of Paul, Ryan, Shona, Jamie, Lisa, Conor, Peter J, Paul, Robbie and Kelly . Great grandmother of Saya, Ciara, Lucy and James. Much loved sister of the late Dympna and Desmond.

Maureen’s remains will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Home 24 English Street Downpatrick , BT30 6AB with the family in attendance from 4pm – 6 pm on Tuesday 22nd September 2026. Removal to St Macartan’s Church Loughinisland arriving 6.30pm on Tuesday. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 23rd September at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus Have Mercy On Her Soul.
