McVEIGH Robert (Bert) (Laurencetown), September 22, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Robert (Bert), devoted son of the late Bob and Catherine McVeigh, loving brother of Anne, Mary and the late Agnes, and brother-in-law of the late Leo, John and Hugh. A much-loved uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Bert will repose at his home, 3 School Terrace, Laurencetown, BT63 6DR, this evening (Tuesday) from 7.00pm and tomorrow (Wednesday) from 11.00am, where family, neighbours and friends are warmly welcome to call and pay their respects. Funeral from his home on Thursday at 10.30am to St Patrick and St Colman’s Church, Laurencetown, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. St Martin, pray for him.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his entire family circle.
