BYRNE Michael, September 23, 2026, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Evora Hospice, Newry, late of 3 Sheemore Crest, Newcastle Road, Kilkeel. Beloved husband of Nan and devoted father of Siobhán, James, Yvonne and Liam. Dearly loved father-in-law of Sean, Emma and Naomi, and cherished grandfather to Niamh, Áine, Rory, Liam, Leo and Olly. A man of great kindness, generosity and quiet wisdom, Michael will be dearly missed by his loving wife, family, brother Brian, the family of his late brother Liam, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.

Friends and neighbours are welcome to pay their respects on today Friday September 25th and tomorrow Saturday September 26th from 2.00pm until 9.00pm. House strictly private on Sunday morning. Removal from his late residence on Sunday September 27th at 1.30pm for 2.00pm Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Ballymartin, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
