McATEER John (8 Kelly’s Road, Killean, Co Armagh BT35 8RY) R.I.P. September 24, 2026, peacefully at Evora Hospice. Beloved husband of the late Josie, much loved dad of Frank, Martin, Eamon and the late Margaret (Mags), loving grandad to Rachel and Daniel, great grandad to Eva and a dear father-in-law to Mary and Marion.

John’s remains will be removed from McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ today (Saturday September 26th) at 1.00pm to his late residence where he will repose until 9.00pm this evening and from 1.00pm – 9.00pm tomorrow (Sunday September 27th). Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday September 28th at 11.00am in St Michael’s Church, 39 Clontigora Road, Killean, Newry BT35 8RR. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
