McBAY James (Jim) Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on 30th September 2026.

Late of 19 Inch View, Hazelbank. May he rest in peace. Devoted son of the late Paddy and May McBay. Beloved husband of Rosemary. Loving father of Rachel and James. Dearest father-in-law of Liam and Melanie. Precious Granda of Caeleb, Sophia, Gracie and Ollie. A much loved brother to all of his brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Jim will be reposing at his late home, 19 Inch View, Hazelbank from 2pm tomorrow afternoon, Thursday 1st October. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 3rd October at 9.20am for 10am Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery. Wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am. Jim’s Requiem Mass can be viewed live via the Holy Family Church webcam.
