HOOPER (Nee Bailie) Kathleen RIP (1938 – 2026) – 3rd October 2026 passed away peacefully in Carrickfergus Manor, late of Beech Drive, Carrickfergus. Devoted wife of Jackie. Much loved mum of Anne (Tim), Julie (the late Nicky) Patricia (Paul) and Martin. Cherished and proud nanny and great nanny Hoops.

Kathleen will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by the entire family circle.

A requiem mass to celebrate the life of Kathleen will be held in St Nicholas’ Catholic Church, Carrickfergus on Friday 9th October at 2.00pm followed by a committal in Prospect Cemetery. Bright colours encouraged to be worn at Kathleens request.

Kathleen will be reposing in Mulhollands Funeral Directors, 39-41 Irish Quart South for those wishing to pay their respects, and family and friends welcome to Kathleens’ daughter Julie’s house, 11 Baird Close, Carrickfergus BT38 7XJ to share memories of Kathleen.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to NI Hospice. St Martin pray for her.
