The death has taken place of Martin Arthur ROONEY, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Aged 100 years old. Late of 48 Tullybrannigan Road, Newcastle. Late of Castlecoote, Co. Roscommon.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Alice. Loving father of John, Seamus, Carolyn, Gerald, Fergus and Alicia. Beloved grandfather of Claire, Seamus, Liam, Connor and Alistair. Great-grandfather, and brother of Doreen. (Drogheda). Will be sadly missed by his sorrowing family and entire family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his gentle soul.

Martin’s remains will leave his late residence on Friday 16th July 2021 at 9.15am for 10.00am Funeral Mass in The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Newcastle. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery Bryansford.
