On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Mindwise it is with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Tom our great friend and colleague. When Tom retired from the Board a year or two ago, I described him as our Rolls Royce Trustee. A super supporter of Mindwise who contributed so much to the organisation, to the Board and indeed to Northern Ireland as a whole. A true gentleman who will be sadly missed. The Directors, staff, clients and volunteers at MindWise were deeply saddened to hear about the death of our dear friend Tom Beare and would like to extend our sincerest sympathies to Doreen, Gareth, Krista, Mark and the wider family circle at the sad time. Tom was a great supporter of MindWise he was always genuinely interested in how things were going and gave so much of his time and effort to champion the causes of mental health. He was a real gentleman who will be sadly missed by so many.
