McVEY Sean (Kinturk-Moortown) 28th October 2026. Peacefully at Belfast RVH surrounded by his loving family, Sean R.I.P. Dearly beloved husband of Anne and much-loved father of Christopher and the late baby McVey. Cherished brother of Christina, Bernadette, Bridget, Gerard, Fred, Colette, Patricia, Martin and Dolores, dear son of the late Francis and Johanna (Judy) and son-in-law of Monica and the late Patsy McEldowney R.I.P.

Funeral from his home 69b Kinturk Road, BT80 0JD to The Church of The Immaculate Conception Moortown for 11am Requiem Mass on Saturday 31st October. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed on Church Webcam. Sean’s Wake will take place on Thursday from 6pm to 10pm and on Friday from 12noon to 10pm. St. Christopher pray for him.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, son, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and wider family circle.

House private please unto Wake commences.

Please note there is very limited parking at the family home so there will be a shuttle bus in operation at Kinturk Cultural Centre from 6pm to 10pm on Thursday and again on Friday from 12noon to 10pm. Could all those attending the wake where possible, please enter the Kinturk road from the Moortown side/Annaghmore Road as this will help ease traffic congestion.
