In my 71 years I have never seen a person to captivate the love and admiration of a country and it's people as Ciara did in her short success-laden life. Her caring, empathetic , loving personality endeared her to all that were fortunate enough to meet her. The world will be a darker place for her passing. Go raibh leaba aici I measc na naomh

Sincerest condolences to Ciara’s beloved husband Thomas, her loving family and friends. Ciara’s unique authentic and generous spirit touched the hearts of so many of us. She brought us all so much joy with her heroic achievements on the track & so much respect and reverence with how she handled herself during the last 18 months. She taught us, through her extraordinary courage and grace, to embrace life fully, to treasure the beauty of each moment and to face the future with unwavering hope; and though she may no longer walk among us, her beautiful spirit will live on in every heart she touched and every life inspired by her example.
