HUGHES (née Cowan) Irene Elizabeth 5th November 2026. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved mother of Paul, Simon, Suzanne and Clare, much loved sister of Cynthia and sister-in-law of Jim, devoted grandmother of Harry, Christopher, Hannah and Emma. Will also be lovingly remembered by Tara, Jayne, Sumeet, Lyndsay, Gerry, Wendy, Andrea and Joanne.

A service will be held in Braniel Church, Woodview Drive, Belfast, BT5 7PY on Thursday 12th November 2026 at 1.15pm and afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium.

No flowers please. Donations in lieu may be sent if desired direct to N.I. Chest, Heart and Stroke, 21 Dublin Road, Belfast, BT2 7HB.

Will be sadly missed by all the family circle. Safe in the Arms of Jesus.
