Date of Death: Wednesday 10th November 2021 Town: Ballymaguigan
Date of Death: Wednesday 10th November 2021

The family of the late Rita O’Neill of Ballymaguigan and Newbridge parish wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement. We are truly grateful to our extended family and neighbours of our mother who were unwaveringly supportive to her last years.

A very special thanks is due to Kathleen Mawhinney, our neighbour, for her unfailing attentions and kindness to her mother throughout the years. Heartfelt thanks to the many carers, nurses and doctors who attended her in life and in hospital and in Weaver House in Cookstown and latterly in Ballyronan Marina Nursing home.

We gratefully appreciated the many friends and relatives, especially Eileen McKay(travelled from England) who were with us for the Funeral services and through the Church online and for Ian ensuring her son Hugh and his family and her sister:- Sister Brigid Anne were with us.

We wish to acknowledge our deep appreciation to all those who participated in her funeral mass and especially to Father Fox who celebrated her funeral mass and guided the liturgies, which was very moving for us. We would also like to make particular mention of Michael Mawhinney who provided the most beautiful singing and music. Thanks also to all those who send mass cards and letters of sympathy.

Finally a very big thank you to the funeral directors Tom and Enda McCusker for their professional handling of arrangements; and to Anne McCrory and Briege Maguire for feeding us. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Our Mother’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December the 7th at 10 o’clock mass in Newbridge Church.

She is at peace now. Saint Anne pray for her. The lord bless her and bring her to everlasting life. Amen.
