McCRORY Very Rev Canon Gerard (Gerry) Died December 19th 2021, peacefully at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald and late of the Assumption Convent, Ballynahinch.

Former PP, Magheradroll Parish, Ballynahinch. Beloved son of the late Thomas and Ellen McCrory (Castor Bay Road, Lurgan), dearest brother of Patricia and the late John, James Henry, Mary, Danny and Rita, brother-in-law to Nell, Mick and the late Ethna, Stella, and Thomas.

Canon Gerry’s remains will be received into St Patrick’s Church, Ballynahinch tomorrow, Wednesday at 12noon and will repose thereafter. The Church will remain open until 9.00pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 12noon, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in Thee.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sister, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, the entire family circle and his many friends, and by Archbishop Eamon Martin, Bishop John McAreavey, the Missionary Sisters of the Assumption and the Priests and Religious of the Diocese of Dromore.
