POITRAS (née Devlin) Ann Jane (Edmonton, Canada, formerly of Gortreagh, Co Tyrone) passed away peacefully in Edmonton on January 5th at the age of 98.

Ann will be forever remembered by sons Ron, Michael, Bernie, daughter Betty Ann; daughters-in-law Sarah and Linda; grandchildren, Rachelle, Andre, Yves, Anne-Marie, Evan, Marc, Gabriel, Stevenson and Karla; great-grandaughter Grace; sister-in-law Therese, and several nieces and nephews. We take comfort in knowing that Ann will be reunited with family members who have left before her including her husband Ben, an infant son, Bernard Dennis, parents Patrick ‘the Pop’ and Margaret, sisters Josephine and Nellie and brothers Tony, Joe and Art.

A heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the staff at St Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital in caring for our dear mom. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

A Funeral Mass will take place in St Thomas More Catholic Church in Edmonton, Canada on January 22, 2022 at 11.00am. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery afterwards.
