LONG John peacefully, February 15th 2022, (R.I.P). Late of 21 Adair Gardens, Cookstown, BT80 8PS.

Beloved husband of the late Liz (R.I.P). Devoted father of Daniel, Steven and James also father in-law of Jenny and Amanda. Cherished grandfather of Theo, Phoebe, Sienna and Aria.
Dear brother of Agnes (Corrigan), Rose, Sally, Ann (McNally), Raymond, Dennis also the late Sam, Michael and Kathleen (R.I.P).

John’s remains are reposing at Niall A. Loughran funeral Directors for wake on Wednesday from 1.00pm – 4.00pm.

Funeral from there on Thursday at 12.30 for 1pm requiem Mass in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown burial afterwards in Forthill Cemetery Cookstown.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons, daughters in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and his entire family circle. St. Anthony pray for him.

In line with government guidelines re: COVID the wake is private to family and close friends.

Donations in lieu if desired to Alzheimer’s Society Mid Ulster Local Service Office, Cookstown.

For those wishing to pay their respects along the funeral route the cortège will travel via Coagh Street (stopping at John’s former place of work on Main Street en route to the Church).
N.B. The cortège will travel to the cemetery via Adair Gardens.
