LEAN, Edgar (Eddie) passed away 3rd March 2022 in hospital.

Much loved son of the late Edgar and Alice, loving father of Jenning, partner Sam and grandchildren Naomi and Sam, Eddie and wife Claire, a dear brother of Frances and family in Australia, Leonard and wife Elsie, Ann and husband Terry, Bronco and wife Hazel, Debbie and husband Chris and family, Sara and husband Jim, and the late Sharon, uncle of Laura and David, great uncle of James and Kimberly.

Eddie will leave his late home, Flat 14 The Milewater, 212 North Queen Street, Belfast on Friday 11th March 2022 at 1.30 pm (please use the bottom carpark) for a service to celebrate his life in Jennymount Methodist Church, Belfast at 2pm. Committal afterwards in Roselawn Crematorium.

People are welcome to call and pay their respects on Wednesday and Thursday.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Royal British Legion c/o Wrays Funeral Directors.

Will be missed by his aunt Dorothy, Sadie and entire family circle.

We little knew that morning. God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Resting where no shadows fall.
