The family of the late Mary Elizabeth (Betty) McIever nee Mulgrew would like to offer their thanks to the many people who showed great kindness and support during Betty’s short illness and in the time since she left us on Sunday 27th March 2022.

For the well-organised and compassionate medical care of Betty, we are truly indebted to Moneymore Medical Centre, Moneymore pharmacy, the Marie Curie nurses and MacMillan nurses.

For their efficient, dignified and extremely sensitive approach to every request, we are grateful to the staff at Niall A Loughran funeral directors and also Lakeland crematorium.

A special thank you to Fr Slater of Holy Trinity Church Cookstown who visited Betty several times at home and also conducted such a beautiful and comforting funeral mass.

Finally thank you to all Betty’s friends, wider family circle and neighbours who often visited our home to offer comfort and support and continue to be there for us.

For all those who called, sent letters and cards, offered assistance and words of empathy during Betty’s illness and time of passing. We are sorry that we did not get the chance to speak to everyone at Betty’s funeral but we are so grateful for everyone that was there.

Betty’s month’s mass is at 6pm on Saturday 30th April in Holy Trinity Church Cookstown.
