McATEER George (Geordie) (Newry) June 14, 2022, (peacefully) at his residence, late of 41 Lower Ballyholland Road.

George (Geordie), dearly beloved husband of the late Josephine and cherished father of Gerald (Geordie), Pauline, Donal and the late Bridie, much loved brother of the late Michael-John, Pat-Edward, Bernard, Eileen (Hillen), Margaret (Fitzpatrick), Philomena (Keenan), Annie (Roe) and Lily (McManus).

May he Rest In Peace.

Geordie’s remains will repose at his residence, from 4pm on Wednesday. Funeral on Friday at 1.15pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Chapel Street. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing sons, daughter, sons-in-law Conor and Paul, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and the entire family circle.
