MCNAMEE Gerry, formerly of Sixmilecross, Omagh, Co. Tyrone has died peacefully in Long Island, New York on 8th November 2022.

Son of the late James & Kathleen and brother of the late Peggy, Packie, Peter, Brendan, Jack, Phyllis, Frank, Matt, Gussie, Michael and Harry and his infant twin sister Patricia. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Helen (formerly of County Clare), sons Gerard and the late Brian, daughters MaryClare and Eileen and the late Patricia, and his grandchildren Ruadhán, Noah and Emilia & their families. Also sadly missed by his brothers Wil and Malachy (Omagh), sisters in law, nieces and nephews and entire family circle.

Gerry emigrated to New York in 1957, served in the US Navy from 1959-1963, the New York City Transit Police from 1964-1984 and was a master upholsterer and awning maker for another 20 years. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

A Mass in memory of the late Gerry will take place at a later date.
