HILGER BARNES Mary, passed away peacefully at home in Belfast on January 2, 2023, at the age of 83.
Mary (also known as Kathleen) volunteered for servicemen in Hong Kong, at a primary school in York, and with special needs adults in Bangor. Mary was very grateful for the love and camaraderie shown to her by her dear friends throughout the world and especially in Bangor. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Jim, Michael and Justin, her daughter-in-law Karin, her grandson Dirk, her surviving sister Nora and extended family.
Memorial gathering to celebrate Mary’s life to take place later in 2023. Donations to RNLI in lieu of flowers.
