COPELAND Edward (Teddy) died peacefully surrounded by his family in hospital January 21, 2023.

Loving husband to Jeannie (McBride), devoted father to Sharon, Teddie, Lyndsey and Kim. Father-in-law to Liam, Patricia, Mark and Marty. Caring grandfather to Teddie, Ciaran, Kate, Owen, Conor, Rory, Sarah, Aoibh, Caolan and Odhran and great grandchildren Donncha, Jude and Saoirse. Brother to Pat, Alfie, Jimmy, Margaret and the late Marilyn. Deeply regretted by all his nieces and nephews. Dear Lord, wrap Your arms around Teddy and lift him to Heaven to be reunited with his beautiful grandson Owen, sister Marilyn and his beloved parents Kitty and Pat.

Teddy’s remains will rest in the family home, 4 Myrtledene Road, Belfast until 1.30pm on today Tuesday January 24th for 2.00pm Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Parish of Carryduff and Drumbo.

For five years you’ve carried Christ’s cross. You never complained and always smiled. Every Carer, Nurse and Doctor taken in by your beautiful charm. You have always taught us to be brave, you are our hero, our strength and best friend, but above all you are our Teddy. You lived your life as a true Christian of God, a good neighbour and friend to all. In your life you’ve loved them all. Rest in the arms of all the Angels and Saints. St Jude pray for him.
