O’NEILL Darren (Horse) – It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darren (Horse) O’Neill on Friday 31st March 2023.

Darren was a firefighter for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and proud GAA player and coach at Naomh Séamas CLG, Aldergrove, and St Malachy’s GAC, Belfast.

He will be sorely missed by his wife Orianne, the O’Neill and Scullion families, and his many friends including all those who knew him from the GAA and fire services.

His funeral will be held at The Star Of The Sea church in Portstewart on Wednesday 5th April 2023 at 2:00pm followed by interment in Portstewart New Cemetery, with a reception to follow at Pairc Eoghan Rua in Portstewart.

Donations to The Firefighters Charity in lieu of flowers c/o Mrs Mona Murdock, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine.

Members from the GAA community and fire service are encouraged to wear their uniform in Darren’s honour.
