MELLY Liam – We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Liam Melly, peacefully at The Foyle Hospice, surrounded by all of his loving family on 15th May 2023. Late of 8 Celtic Court. May he rest in peace.

Devoted father of Amanda, Joanne, Liam and Mark. Loving granda of Ethan, Ábaigh, Dylan, Jade, Sophie, Katie-Lee, Eva and Emilie. A much loved great-granda of Luca. Dearest father-in-law of Colin, Georgie and Alison. Dear husband of Annie. Loving brother of Anne, Clare, Marie, Danny, Gerard, Pius, Hugh and the late Mick, Jim and Betty. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Liam’s remains are now reposing at his wife Annie’s residence, 4 Dunmore Gardens. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday 17th May at 9:20am for 10am requiem mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
