We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of James (Jimbo) Crossan, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin hospital on 16th May 2023. Late of 100 Woodbrook and formerly of 2 Hamilton Street.

President of The AOH – Board of Erin and former player and manager of Derry City FC. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Nora. Devoted father of Seamus, Maraide, Liam, Anne, John, Karen, Martin, Joan, Barry, Elaine and the late Brenda. Loving granda and great-granda to all of his grandchildren. Dearest brother of Jobby and the late Eddie, Mary, Harry, Ron, Liam and Patsy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Jimbo’s remains will be reposing at his daughter Anne’s residence, 3 Lenamore Park. Funeral leaving from there on Friday, 19th May at 9.20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
