AHERNE Gerard – (Crossmaglen), June 11, 2023 (peacefully) at home.

Gerard, devoted husband of Bernadette. Cherished father of Shaun, Martin and Bridgette (Carr). Dear father in law of Sean, Nicola and Orlene. Beloved grandfather of Jamie-Leigh, Donnacha, Makenzie, Keelin, Darragh, Aria and Luca. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Bridget RIP. Brother of John, Patsy, Michael, Phyliss, Mary, Kathleen and the late Noreen and Margaret.

Removal from Mc Convilles Funeral Home at 7pm on Monday evening to his home at 15 Lismore, Crossmaglen.

Wake visiting times – Monday 7:30pm – 10pm and Tuesday 12noon – 9pm. Funeral on Wednesday June 14, leaving his home at 1:30pm (House Strictly Private On Wednesday) to St Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen arriving for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife, sons, daughters, son in law, daughters in law, 7 grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended Aherne family, neighbours and many friends.
