O’CONNOR Cathal (Maxi) – (Lisnamoyle, Culloville, Castleblayney and formerly Armagh) June 14, 2023, (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff of our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Cathal Rory (Maxi) predeceased by his parents Michael and Teresa, his brothers Fintan and Kieran and his sister Treasa.

House strictly private. Maxi will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Friday June 16, from 6pm until 8pm. Maxi’s funeral cortège will leave the Funeral Home on Saturday June 17, at 10:30am, proceeding to Lakelands Crematorium Cavan, arriving for Funeral Ceremony at 12 noon followed by cremation.

No flowers please.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Tonia, his children Lorraine, Brendan, Colleen and Miceala, his sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, his seven grandchildren, his brothers Diarmuid and Micheál and his sisters Aileen, Fionnuala and Deirdre, his mother-in-law Catherine McArdle, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, neighbours and most especially his treasured dogs.
