HUGHES John – (The 12 Arches Nursery, 149B Bryansford Road, Newcastle) Died July 2, 2023 peacefully at home.

Dearly beloved son of the late Arthur and Selena, loving brother of Mary, Harry, Selena and the late Dessie. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his entire family circle and many friends. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

John’s remains are presently reposing in MJ Sawey & Sons Chapel of Rest, 9 Bryansford Avenue, Newcastle BT33 0AX. Chapel of Rest will open today Monday July 3, 2023 at 10.00am for all visitors. Family will be in attendance from 4.00pm to 9.00pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow Tuesday July 4, 2023 at 10.00am in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Newcastle. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Old Cemetery, Main Street, Newcastle.
