DEERY (née Fox) Carmel (late of Iveagh Parade, Belfast) passed away peacefully Tuesday July 25, 2023 after a long illness.
Beloved wife to Gerry Deery and loving mother to Colin, Gerard, Jacqueline and Paula. A much loved nanny to Ethan, Niamh, Harry, Declan, Cormac and Emmett. Dear mother-in-law to John, Stephen and Deborah.
Carmel will be reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast BT1 2GX until 3.00pm on tomorrow Friday 28th. Viewing by appointment only please. Tel: 028 9024 3129. Please Note: Private Family time on today Thursday 27th between 1.00pm – 2.30pm. Her remains will be taken to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Dunmurry Lane for prayers on Friday 28th at 5.00pm. Service of Thanksgiving at 10.00am on Saturday 29th, followed by burial in Milltown Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Dementia (NI) or the Alzheimer’s Society, c/o O’Kanes Funeral Directors.
