DUFFY (nee McAteer) Mary Rose – (Burren) September 1, 2023, peacefully after a short illness at Daisy Hill Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary Rose, beloved daughter of the late Michael and Brigid McAteer, cherished sister of Michael and the late Matt. 10 Lurgancanty Road, Clontifleece, Burren and formerly Ballyholland. Loving aunt of Anne, Michael, Mary, Sean and the late Joe and Lena, treasured great-aunt to her nieces and nephews and more recently great-great-nieces and nephews. May her soul rest in peace.

Mary Rose’s remains will leave her home today Monday at 11.30am arriving at St Mary’s Church, Burren for 12noon Requiem Mass (churchmedia.tv) followed by interment in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her loving brother, family circle and friends. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for her.
