HEERY Joseph – 18th September 2023 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, aged 89.

Beloved husband of the late Sheila (formerly of Belfast), loving father of Angela, Michael and the late Sean, father-in-law of Brian and Louise, devoted grandfather of Louise, Paul, Laura, Meghan, Niall, Louis and Danny, great-grandfather of Jamie and Jordon and dear brother of Mollie, Pat and the late Tom, Phil, Johnnie, Michael, Hugh, Billy and Margaret.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at his home, 20 Oak Country Green, Derry, BT47 6FU, on Wednesday from 12 noon to 10 pm. Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.30 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, Waterside. Interment will take place in Bundoran. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
