MURPHY-HUGHES Elizabeth (Eilish) (nee Quinn) (Newry) died December 7th 2023 peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Brian (Murphy) and Christy (Hughes) R.I.P., devoted mother of Martha, Liam, Míceál and the late Feargal R.I.P. and treasured sister of Patsy (Quinn), Kathleen (Barron), Willie (Quinn), Bridie (Byrne) and the late Ann (Conway), Luke (Quinn), Marie (Sparks) and Margaret (Quinn) R.I.P.

Her remains will repose in Paul McEvoy’s Funeral Home, 80 Canal Street, Newry, BT35 6DX, Today (Thursday) from 4pm until 8pm and tomorrow (Friday) from 12 noon until 8pm. Requiem Mass for Eilish will be celebrated on Saturday at 12noon in St. Mary’s Church, Chapel Street, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady Queen of The Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughter, grandchildren Richard, CJ, and Zara, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.
