MURPHY Eddie (Newry, formerly of Blaney Crescent) Eddie died December 19th 2023, peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved partner of Sandra, devoted step-father to Colm, Bridgeen, Christine, Sandra, Louise, Padraig and Piarias, devoted son of the late Mary and James R.I.P. and treasured brother to Nancy, Margaret, Kitty, Goretti, Bernie, Jim, Thomas, Veronica, May, Geraldine, Banto and the late Pat, Eileen and Maureen R.I.P.

His remains will repose in Paul McEvoy’s Funeral Home, 80 Canal Street, Newry, BT35 6DX, Today (Wednesday) from 6pm until 8pm and tomorrow (Thursday) from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass for Eddie will be celebrated on Friday at 10.30am in S.S. Patrick & Colman’s Cathedral, burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery. Our Lady Queen of The Most Holy Rosary pray for him.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his partner, step-children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.
