We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Josephine Dillon (née McDaid), peacefully at Altnagelvin hospital on 1st January 2024. Late of 50 Circular Rd. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of the late Patsy. Devoted mother of John, Pat, Matt, Marie, Michael, Noel, Paul and the late Rachel. Loving granny, great-granny and great-great granny to all of her grandchildren. A much loved sister, mother-in-law and aunt. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.

Josephine’s remains will be reposing at her daughter Marie’s residence, 3 Kildrum Heights, Killea from 4:30pm this afternoon, Tuesday 2nd January. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday 4th January at 9:15am for 10am requiem mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
