We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Michael (Mickey) McLaughlin, peacefully at home, on 8th January 2024.

Late of 2 Iveagh Pk, Prehen and formerly of Ardmore. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of the late Barbara. Devoted father of Michael, Eamonn and the late Mark. A much loved father-in-law of Siobhan and Hilary. Loving grandfather of Thomas. Dearest brother of Bridie and the late Lena and John. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.

Mickey’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 2 Iveagh Pk, Prehen from 5pm this afternoon, Monday 8th January. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday 10th January at 10:45am for 11:30am requiem mass in St. Columb’s Church, Chapel Rd. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore.

Wake house will be strictly private from 10pm until 11am.
