CUNNINGHAM (née Wipf) Maria Magdalena, called home January 5th 2023, peacefully in the Lisadian Nursing Home.

Loving wife of the late Ronald, mother of Sam and Andrew, mother in law of Lorraine, and grandmother of Ewan and the late Anya.

A service of thanksgiving will be held in Bethany Church – 135c Upper Lisburn Road, Finaghy, Belfast on Sunday 14th of January at 3:00 pm followed by light refreshments in Bethany Church. A committal service will be held at Blaris New Cemetery Lisburn at 2:30 pm on Monday 15th of January.

Maria is at home with the Lord Jesus Christ after 52 years of missionary service (1964 – 2016) in Ethiopia and Tanzania.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Bobby Morrison Funeral Directors, 2 Manor Drive, Hillsborough Road, Lisburn, BT28 1JH. Any donations will be used to fund something specifically in keeping with Maria’s mission heart to help people in need both spiritually and physically.

Maria will be remembered with love by her family and friends at home and abroad.
