It is with great sadness that the Magennis family announce the passing of their dearly beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Mary Magennis (nee Lagan) peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital surrounded by her loving family 17th January 2024.

Beloved wife of the late John R.I.P. and much loved mother of Carmel (Curran), Aidan, Ciaran, Claire, Sinéad, Jarlath and Ronan. Mother in-law of Paddy, Jackie, Claire, James, Siobhan, James and Catherine. Cherished grandmother of Steven, Joe, Nicole, Ross, Catherine, James, Anna, Vincent, JJ, Charlie, Dominic, Stacie, Kirsty, Dylan, Cillian & Nelle, great grandmother to Nylah & Fiádh.

Reposing at her late residence 65 Knockaleary Road Cookstown BT80 9EJ from Thursday 18th January until removal on Saturday at 10:15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Killeenan. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and entire family circle.

Wake will commence from 11am to 10pm Thursday and Friday. House private on Saturday morning please. Padre Pio pray for her.
