WELSH (nee Thomas) Rose – 14th October 1924 – 18th January 2024, in her 100th year, died peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital on 18th January 2024.

Dearly loved wife of the late Herbie, mother of Billy, Rosemary, Diane, and the late Ronnie, mother-in-law of Joan, Joe, Mandy and the late Bobby, sister of Bill, aunt of David, Martin and Lynne, grandmother of Debbie, Lesley, Natalie, Vicky, Maxine, Mark, William, Kim and great grandmother of twelve.

Funeral Service will take place at Rathcoole Presbyterian Church, 121 Rathmore Drive, Newtownabbey, BT37 9DP, on Friday 26th January 2024 at 13:00 p.m., followed by interment at Carnmoney East Cemetery, joining beloved husband Herbie.

Refreshments, provided at the Church Hall after the Service or Interment.

Thanks to the staff at Abbeylands Care Home, Antrim Hospital, Wilton Funeral Directors Whiteabbey and to Rathcoole Presbyterian Church. Flowers are welcome, as are donations if desired, to Rathcoole Presbyterian Church.

Deeply regretted by all her sorrowing family, Rose will be sorely missed and very fondly remembered.
