McDOWELL John James (Johno)Passed peacefully on the 27th of February in hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Madeline, much loved father of Christine and John. Deeply regretted by all who loved him.

Not a sound disturbs his slumber, not a pain to mar his brow, in the loving arms of Jesus, he’s at peace now.

John will be leaving his family home 82 Ivanhoe Avenue, BT8 8BW on Tuesday 5th March for Requiem Mass at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Carryduff at 9.30am. Cremation will follow at Roselawn Crematorium at 11.20am.

Family respectfully ask the house is private until Friday 1st March.
