CRANGLE Gertie – 4 Carriff Court, Kilclief, Strangford died peacefully at home, Friday 1st March 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Dearly beloved wife of Eddie, loving mother of Danny, Edward, Deborah and Shaun and the late baby Catherine, much loved mother-in-law of Marguerite, Elaine, Jude and Sinead, devoted grandmother of Matthew, Dylan, Oisin, Calum, Ciaràn, Ryan, Aaròn, Rebecca, Orlaith and Mollie, beloved great-grandmother of Caden and much loved sister of Dickie, Kathleen, Mary, Eddie, Laurence, Dolores, Raymond, Margo and BIlly and the late Jacqueline, Patricia and Betty.

Gertie is reposing in Down Funeral Directors, 26 John Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6BY on Friday from 3pm with the family in attendance daily from 6-9pm (Friday) and Saturday onwards from 2-4pm and 6-9pm.

Gertie will leave the funeral home on Sunday 3 March at 2.30 pm to be received into St Patrick’s Church, Saul at 3pm. Gertie’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday 4 March at 11.30 am with a private family cremation on Wednesday 6 March at 1pm at Roselawn.
