McCARTAN Dan, 10 Clanmaghery Road, Downpatrick died peacefully Sunday 3 March at Downe Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly beloved partner of Betty, loving father of Mark, cherished grandfather of Jamie, Jorden, Daniel, Sean, Ethan, Ross, Jack, Ayla and Adam, much loved father-in-law of Joan, Sharon and Andrea, devoted brother of Eileen, Delia (DV) and Gay and dedicated stepfather of Gary and Jason.

Dan will be reposing at his son, Mark’s residence, 18 Lough Moss Park, Carryduff, BT8 8PD. Dan will leave his son Mark’s home on Wednesday 6 March at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Carryduff. A private family cremation will be held in Roselawn on Saturday 9 March at 10.40am.

Deeply regretted by his entire family circle.
