At OzRoundTable we knew Tommy as the most cheerful and young-hearted person, dearly loving a joke, wicked sense of humour, and always kind-hearted and appreciative. We knew also how much he loved his wife and family, and how a last trip to Gran Canaria gave him those days of sunshine. He knew that he wouldn't be making it to Christmas, but he also knew he'd lived a rich and joyous life; that is the best legacy of all. I lost my father only two months ago, so I speak from my heart when I say that I understand how this will be hurting you.
