Acknowledgment from the family of the late Martin McGuckin (R.I.P)
We, the family of the late Martin R.I.P would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone that sympathised with us during this sad and difficult time of our bereavement.
We have been overwhelmed by the support and kindness shown to us by our relatives, friends, and wider community.
Thank you to everyone that sent mass/sympathy cards, sent messages through text and social media, to those who helped at the family home and sent food during the wake, to those that called at the wake and attended the funeral or viewed online. We are forever grateful and took comfort from your support.
A special thank you to Fr Tremer for his support and guidance over the days we waited for daddy to return home and the days after. Thank you for the meaningful Funeral Mass which was offered with such respect.
Thank you To Roisin and Emmett for the beautiful music, to the grave diggers who prepared daddy’s final resting place, To Corky and the team at Kinturk for the beautiful food after the funeral.
We would like to thank Conan and Pat of Laverys Funeral Directors for the support and guidance over the days we waited for daddy to return home and the professional and dignified manner in which the wake and funeral arrangements were carried out. Your support was invaluable and for this we will be forever grateful.
As it is impossible to thank everyone personally, we hope you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude.

Daddy’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Monday 20th May at 7.30pm in the Church of The Immaculate Conception Moortown.
