We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Joseph (Joe) McCloskey, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 17th May 2024. Late of 68 Marianus Park and formerly of Moyola Drive, Shantallow. May he rest in peace.

Beloved father of Joseph, Nicola and the late Stephen. A much loved father-in-law of Sinead. Devoted granda and great-granda to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loving brother to all of his brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends.

Joe’s remains will be reposing at his late residence, 68 Marianus Park from 5:30pm this afternoon, Friday 17th May. Funeral leaving from there on Sunday 19th May at 11:40am for 12:15pm Requiem Mass in Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
