The death has occurred of the late James Watters (Jim) Jackson, May 26th 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family in his 88th year, formerly of Carrigans)

Much loved husband of the late Joan, devoted dad of Richard and Robert, loving father-in-law of Shauna and Samantha, adored grandad of Callum, Rory and Sophie, dearest brother of Dolly and the late Isobel, Robert (Robbie) and Renee.

Jim’s remains will be reposing at D&R Hay and Sons Funeral Home (address above) until the morning of the funeral, everyone is welcome to pay their respects on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6.00pm until 8.00pm.

Funeral leaving his late home, 12 Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry on Thursday, 30th May at 1.30pm for a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in St. Peter’s Parish Church (Culmore Road) at 2.00pm, followed by burial afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery.
