It is with the deepest regret, that we announce the passing of Mary Rooney (nee Doran), Glenkeen Randalstown, who died on Tuesday 28th May 2024 peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary R.I.P. dearly beloved wife of the late Jack, loving mother to Kevin, Mary(McMullan), Sean and Gerard, mother-in-law to Nichola, Pat, Denise and the late Damian, grandmother to Conor, Maria, Jonathan, Amy, Lorcan, Conleth, Caoimhe, Daire, Joshua, Nathan, Lydia, Martha Rose and Seraphina, Great-grandmother to Erínn, sister to Kathleen (Connolly) and the late Joe Doran.

Mary’s remains will be removed from her daughter’s residence, 6 The Meadows, Randalstown on Thursday evening at 6.20pm to St. MacNissi’s Church for 6.45pm. Requiem Mass will be on Friday at 10.00am, interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. On her soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

Will be lovingly remembered by her sorrowing sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, sister, grandchildren, great-grandchild, friends and family circle.
