We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Mary Abel née Clifford, peacefully at Edenballymore Care Home on 25th June 2024. Late of 40 Oakfield Rd. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of Wilfred. Devoted mother of Angela, Brian, Gavin, Eamon and John. A much loved mother-in-law of David, Angela, Natalia, Kerry and Wendy. Loving grandmother to all of her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Mary’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 40 Oakfield Rd from 6:30pm this evening, Tuesday 25th June. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday 27th June at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
