We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Breidge Doherty née Mellon, peacefully at The Foyle Hospice, surrounded by all of her loving family on 19th July 2024. Late of 22 Yeats Court. May she rest in peace.

Beloved mother of Mark and Gary. Loving mother-in-law of Aisling and Roisin. Devoted grandmother of Amy, Oisín, Jack, Beíbhinn and Brooke. A much loved sister of Eugene, Ann, Maura and Don. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Breidge’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 22 Yeats Court from 1pm tomorrow afternoon, Saturday 20th July. Funeral leaving from from there on Monday 22nd July at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.
