It is the utmost regret that we need to inform you of the death of Gerard McGarel, 17A Stoneyhill, Carnlough. May He Rest In Peace.

Gerard passed away peacefully in hospital on the 19th July surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Dearly beloved husband of Anne and loving father of Margaret (Diamond), Oonagh (Mulvenna), Iain, Kevin and the late David. Dear father-in-law of Paddy, Nathaniel, Martina and Anne. Devoted grandfather of Joseph, Michael, Declan, Hannah, Clare, Sian, Dylan, Michael, Niall, Charlie and Great grandfather of Anna.

Gerard’s funeral will leave his late residence on Sunday at 12.20pm to St. John the Evangelist Church for 1pm Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Larne cemetery, arriving approximately 2.45pm.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, family and family circle. St Gerard pray for him.
